A renewal applicant shall be required to take a refresher course through an approved instructor, to include the standards adopted by the Chiefs and Sheriffs.

The renewal applicant shall fill out the same application as a new applicant, including any new or updated information.

The Class will run from 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM the day of a regularly scheduled CCW class.

Prerequisite: None (However, Prior handgun experience or Intro to Tactical Pistol Class is HIGHLY recommended)

This class meets and exceeds the training requirement for applying for your Nevada Concealed Weapon Permit.  It covers all required topics including the live fire qualification standard as set by the state. This course, while meeting the basic requirements for obtaining your CCW, goes above and beyond by explaining the realities of concealed carry by a professional tactical instructor.

Required: Handgun, Ammunition, Holster, Eye Protection, Ear Protection, Hat with bill or brim. (Rental of handgun and purchase of ammo is available during checkout)

While this class does meet the requirements for applying for your CCW, it is STRONGLY recommended that you take our INTRO to TACTICAL PISTOL course that usually follows the CCW course as the CCW course does not teach you how to shoot or react to a deadly force encounter. JUST BECASUE YOU HAVE A DRIVERS LICENSE DOES NOT MEAN YOU ARE READY FOR THE INDY 500!

Concealed Carry Weapon Certification and Intro to Tactical Pistol Combo

This course is designed to develop understanding and proficiency with a tactical shotgun. Students will progress from basic handling and marksmanship skills to advanced shooting drills. This course will focus on techniques used in an urban environment. The student will develop skills that will increase their speed, accuracy and confidence with the tactical shogun.

This course is designed to develop the foundation of combative shooting skills needed in a tactical setting. The student will exercise these skills in a variety of shooting situations. The student will gain experience, confidence and increase their skill level with their handgun.

This course is designed to teach the armed individual the basic principles of care under fire and dealing with the main elements of combat trauma. Based on the military’s Tactical Combat Casualty Care (TCCC), the course discusses the difference between Tactical and EMS medicine. The students will become familiar with the application of the tools and techniques through classroom lecture for the first half of the day and practical exercises for the remainder. The students will become familiar with the application of more advanced techniques in managing trauma and the top three causes of preventable death in the tactical environment.

Introduction to Home Defense is designed to bring civilians into the world of Close Quarters Battle (CQB) in terms and conditions that they will most likely be applied. The student will learn the safest and most effective ways to defend themselves and their families should they find a violent aggressor in their home. These techniques apply to buildings in general and we will discuss scenarios in public settings as well. These techniques will be reinforced by the use of Force on Force reality based training tools.
